It is a goal that all yacht manufacturers set out to accomplish but rarely meet, to seamlessly mesh the sea and nature with fiberglass and power. The design team and engineers tasked with bringing this to life on the Prestige 680 S went above and beyond. Joining the line of Prestige luxury motor yachts, the 680 S comprises all the key points that have made the Prestige Yacht Division line a success, as well as some of the excellent qualities of the Prestige 750. Specifically designed to be equipped with an IPS 1200 engine, the Prestige 680 offers enjoyable, comfortable cruising.
The hull designed by J&J, has the advantage of the HUGE IPS 1200 propulsion system as the heart. This choice takes its place in the continuity of the Prestige range, and one as a natural prolongation for our customers. The seaworthiness of this 680 is simply outstanding thanks to these powerful and highly balanced hulls. The Prestige 680 S is distinguishable by her massive hardtop, sexy lines and the extensive windows, both hull side and main deck. Every detail has been worked out to give the 680 a very successful "superyacht" style.
From the dock, the mind is left to wonder how such a large vessel can move and appear so elegantly. The trouble with elegance, toughness and grit are often overlooked. In the Prestige Yacht Division, all are seamlessly combined without sacrifice.
True to the style of Prestige, the elongated hull side windows and mirrored glass salon windows make a statement from any and all angles. She is noticeably wider than most yachts in this class which provides a more stable ride and adds volume to the interior layout. As Prestige puts it, "Timeless design" is what keeps this spectacular vessel at the forefront of yachting in this size.
On the bow of the Prestige 680 S another well designed luxury is the foredeck sunpad that also has sofa style seating forward with adjustable backrests. The sunpad mattress covered by the cabana style awning is the perfect place to layout and relax with loved ones. Sofa style seating in front of that sunpad is somewhat of a new concept for the world of yachting especially on this size of vessel. The party can actually take place at the bow and everyone can have a comfortable seat.
At the stern of the Prestige 680 S there are a few customizable options that can transform the platform into a galley, a tender garage, jet tender garage or even a full crew quarter. With the tender garage set up there is a manual watertight door and load capacity of over 1000 pounds. This models also is equipped with an "autostep" system which, as it sounds, automatically creates steps for easy access to the cockpit when the platform is lowered into the water. The bench seating with cup holders and electrical courtesy curtains come standard which makes the cockpit an enjoyable place to entertain any time of day.
Although this is the S model there is still a fully functional and luxurious flybridge aft of the sunroof. It is significantly smaller of a bridge than the 680 Fly but allows for additional real-estate and another helm station. The helm is in the center of the vessel with the “sport” captain and co-captain helm chairs. Being there is a joystick at this helm, it is easy to run the yacht from here even in close quarters. In the aft section of the fly you will see a U-shaped dinette which is convertible into a huge sunpad. There are also two lateral sofas and a full wet bar including a sink grill and 30L refrigerator so finding a reason to leave such a magnificent spot becomes a challenge.
Once inside, the worries seem to fade away and the thoughts of exploration are endless. The massive 17-and-a-half-foot beam allows for all sorts hidden features and creature comforts. She features an interior design synonymous with light, space, ease of movement and privacy. With bold, timeless lines and high-quality materials, fit and finish, the Prestige 680 S offers the same technical attributes found throughout the line, while also benefitting from the latest innovations, including the Seakeeper gyrostabilizer.
You will be seduced by the all-round view, bathed in light thanks to three large windows for 360° vision. Due to the smaller flybridge above, Prestige was able to add an electric sunroof that has been supersized to allow for maximum light and airflow into the salon. The accommodation continues the Prestige strong points by offering a galley where you enter, a dining area with a luxury table and a lounge in the middle with a sea view, each area having plenty of specially designed storage space.
On this model, the Prestige 680 S has a separate side access from the helm position that extends the salon like a balcony with a large, glazed sliding door. The staterooms benefit from an ideal layout thanks to a deck entirely dedicated to guests and isolated from the master's stateroom, each part with its own staircase.
Unlike typical yachts in this class, the 680 S has the master stateroom forward, this is due to the extreme beam. Independent access via a staircase towards the bow of the boat will put you in your very own dream stateroom. Queen bed located in the center of the cabin provides outstanding views from the windows on either side. There are also skylights above which provide more natural light until it is time for some privacy in which case simply hold the switch and watch the blinds electrically close. A walk-in closet adjacent to the master head gives ample access to the wardrobe after stepping out of the shower with a raindrop faucet. You will also find a vanity, dresser and a lounge to make it feel more like home.
Depending on your preference, optional three or four stateroom layout gives plenty of space for all possible guests to feel welcome. In the three-stateroom layout the guest is nearly as desirable as the VIP with all the amenities needed. Queen birth at the center of the vessel with the beautiful views we have come to expect. If the four-stateroom design suits your needs the guest gets split into two and each get 2 twin beds. In this layout, 8 guests can sleep comfortably.
The VIP is towards the aft of the 680 with a private ensuite head, stand-up shower and closets galore. Each cabin has an optional TV with optional satellite hookup so the primetime lineup can be enjoyed even in your home away from home.
