Social and Entertainment Areas

The Prestige 590S is, if nothing, a wonderful place to spend the day with family and friends. The most eye-catching of all the exterior social spaces is the bow lounge. This massive sunpad fills up almost the entire bow of the 590S other than walking room in either side and access to the anchor locker. The sunpad is large enough to easily fit 4 sunbathers. A pedastal table hidden beneath the lower cushions on the sunpad can even fold up, creating a wonderful space on the front of the boat for a lunch under the sun. Cup holders and handle rails line both sides but the massive, removable shade canopy is the most distinguishing characteristic. 

Towards the transom is the traditionally designed aft cockpit dining space found on most express yachts, although a few tweaks add to the functionality on the 590S. The L-shaped couch has the ability to remain raised for dining or the back rest lowered to create an additional large sunpad and lounge.

The Captain's Experience

Driving an express yacht is predominantly done from the inside helm as most cruisers like this don't have an upper helm, except the 590S. Understanding their customer base, Prestige added an upper helm and lounge area that somewhat resembles the bridge on the 590 Fly. Portside stairs lead you to the upper helm area where you find large sunpads that fold up for seating. The upper helm station features large Raymarine displays along with optional joystick controls and the exhilaration of the wind in your hair at 30+ knots!

Operating the Prestige 590S from the inside helm isn't exactly a chore. Prestige has done a fantastic job of opening up the salon with the electrically-controlled, oversized sunroof, large windows that line the main deck, the massive windshield, and select side windows next to the helm that open for ventilation. Open up the aft doors and the interior of the 590S feels as if it has been lifted from the hull and placed outside.

But Which One's The Master?

Prestige has committed its team to creating a livable yacht that feels like home and this isn't achieved without a luxurious and comfortable stateroom for the owner and his or her guests. On the 590S, the configuration features two large staterooms, the master placed midship and the almost identical VIP forward in the bow. Portside there is an additional guest room featuring side-by-side bunks. Owners do have several options to customize the lower deck including choosing either 1, 2, or 3 heads in their layout configuration. Choice of interior woodwork are also an option and can be done in Grey Oak, Wenge or a high-gloss Wenge. Staying overnight on a yacht has never been more comfortable!

Overall, the Prestige 590S will debut to just as much excitement as the 590 Flybridge did and will be just as successful. Prestige continues to build a quality boat at a price point that's very competitive and the 590S is no exception. Last but not least, the Prestige 590S will be equipped with the Ship Control System which allows anyone on board to control the basic functions of the yacht right from their smart device.
