Exterior: Sharper Lines, Distinctive Identity
At first glance, the updated Pardo 43 feels lighter, more athletic, and more purposeful. The new hull windows are larger and more sculptural, flooding the interior with daylight while giving the profile a more elegant presence. The previously distinct windshield and hardtop now merge more fluidly with the T-top (or carbon T-Top option), giving a sense of continuity between helm fairing and overhead protection.
The reverse bow remains a signature feature, but the sheerline has been refined - less aggressive, more balanced, to soften the silhouette without dulling its sporty spirit.
The walkaround decks remain generous, and the lines of the superstructure are cleaner, with sculpted air intakes and rational deck transitions, every curve, angle and recess conceived to balance form and function.
The aft cockpit is laid out for conviviality, with ergonomic sofas for 8-to-10 guests and a table that can lower to convert into an additional sunpad.
Meanwhile, the external galley (induction cooktop, barbecue, refrigerators) acts as a social hub, anchoring the outdoor life on board. A fully recessed, up-and-down hydraulic swim platform aligns with the tender garage, and includes a bathing ladder and retractable gangway - an elegant, practical arrangement for beaching, swimming, and tenders.
Interiors: Light, Flexible & Sociable
Below, the updated Pardo 43 doesn’t follow the “bigger is better” route; it subtly reconfigures and brightens. Large, sculpted hull windows flood the spaces with natural light and keep the connection to the sea.
The choices of fabrics, leathers, and woods foreground craftsmanship while adhering to clean, uncluttered lines. The layout offers flexibility: the standard arrangement is a one-cabin / one-head layout, but an optional two-cabin version opens further possibilities.
The main cabin (if one cabin layout) gives good volume, and in the two-cabin variant, the forward cabin offers a double or convertible layout, while the midship twin / convertible cabin provides additional guest capacity.
The head includes a shower with built-in seat, and materials and finishes are selected to feel warm, premium, and comfortable on longer cruises. All transitions (deck to salon, salon to cockpit) remain low or step-free where possible, enhancing flow and ease-of-movement aboard.
Propulsion, Performance & Systems
Power comes from twin IPS drives. The standard setup is 2× Volvo IPS 500 (2 × 370 hp), with optional upgrades to IPS 600 or IPS 650 units (2 × 440 or 2 × 480 hp) for more punch. Fuel capacity is 343 U.S. gallons and fresh water 105 U.S. gallons - substantial for a boat of this class.
With these systems, the Pardo 43 can reach up to around 37 knots in maximum speed, with optimized fuel efficiency in cruise modes.
The architecture embraces modern onboard automation: the helm features three touchscreen displays, and domotics integration allows operators to manage lighting, climate, and audio with ease. Behind aesthetics and convenience lies well-thought engineering: the engine room is laid out for access and maintenance; intakes, ventilation, and ergonomics are refined for reliability and ease.
Pardo 43R Option: Outboard Version
For owners seeking a more performance-oriented, sporty personality, Pardo also offers the Pardo 43R—a version designed around outboard power. The 43R can mount up to three 600-hp Mercury outboards, pushing speeds beyond 50 knots.
That variant retains the design DNA of the standard 43 but gives it a different driving character: more adrenaline, more open-water sprinting, yet with many of the same livability features.
