Paul Aversano in particular, was and is a fantastic representative of Staten Island Yacht Sales, the manufacturers that they represent and the boating industry in general. He is much more than a sales rep in that he understands boats especially the mechanical aspects of a vessel. Therefore, if there is a problem Paul grasps it with one explanation and knows exactly who to call to resolve the issue.
I could not possibly speak more highly of Mr. Aversano or Staten Island Yacht Sales. They are an absolute pleasure to work with.
Chris Brabender sold us a 59 Marquis in February 2008. He was very helpful in orienting us to the boat and making sure everything was taken care of before delivery. He has remained interested in our enjoyment of the boat and helpful with any warranty issues. When called upon he is there to answer any questions we may have and even showed up very late one evening when we were having a problem with a pump. He is much more than a salesman, boating would not be the same without him.
Dear Paul, While shivering in a brutal New York cold snap, my mind wanders ahead to May when I again get aboard my Cruiser 420 SC. Once again I relied on your expertise in aiding my selection of a new boat – my third from SI Yachts. All served me well, and if there was ever a hiccup you and Theresa came and worked with me always to my satisfaction. I will be selecting another boat in 2012, and I look no farther than Staten Island Yacht Sales.
Having just made one of the largest purchases in my life at your firm, I thought you should know about and understand my experience. I first met Eileen at the Tobay Show and at the same time fell in love with the 38 Sport Bridge. Eileen was patient, understanding, someone I began to trust. She promised she would be with me every step of the way. She lived up to that bargain. Holding my hand through the process my only regret being I didn’t have enough money to buy two boats. The buying process was one of the most enjoyable experiences I have ever had. SIBS service department made me feel very comfortable in whatever I needed and gets a golden globe award for service! What differentiates your firm from others is each of the people on your staff made me feel that they really cared about me. The message you are trying to deliver us is being executed very well. Your team is great, very professional, and they go the extra mile to show they care. In this world that is a tremendous differentiator.

I loved my 2001 Silverton, 33 Ocean Sport, until I saw the boat of my dreams, the 38 Silverton. As a single woman, I appreciate the ease of handling, the convenience of the dashboard set-up and the cabin layout. My name is Chris Mosca, and I would like to take a moment at share my experiences with Staten Island Yacht Sales and Dick Curry. My wife and I are avid boaters, and have been blessed with being able to boat year round, NY during the summer and West Palm Beach during the winter. We have purchased three boats from Staten Island Yacht Sales, A few years ago we were sitting on our Silverton 42C in Florida after going to the Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show and we were seriously considering moving up to the new 48C (now 50C). We had met a Silverton dealer from Florida at the boat show and he came to our dock in West Palm to offer us a trade and to put us in the new boat. We were impressed with his tenacity to track us down and come to our marina to meet with us and we were equally impressed with the offer he made to get our business. However, we had to respectfully let him know that he had no chance of getting our business because of our belief in Dick Curry and his professionalism at Staten Island Yacht Sales. Needlees to say we purchased the boat from Dick and have nothing but praise for him personally and Staten Island Yacht Sales professional approach to customer service. We have recommended Dick and SIYS to many frends and they have been just as happy as we are.
